After the Canvas Entice A105, Micromax has another device up its sleeves thats ready to be launched. The Indian smartphone manufacturer has scheduled a press event for June 16 during which its upcoming device, the Canvas Gold A300 may be introduced.
And the ‘gold’ in the name is pretty significant.The Device will be available in 2 colors: White Gold and Black Gold. Looks dont bother you much? Dont worry, The Canvas Gold A300 has some pretty good specs too.
The device from Micromax will have a metal body that stands pretty thin at 6.9mm. A 5.5″ 1080p touchscreen and an 8MP shutter on the front will greet you as you pick up the phone while a 16MP camera will be present on the back with flash. Inside the hood, one will find a 2 GHz octa-core CPU along with 2GB of RAM. There’s no news about the chipset used but sources claim it to be the MediaTek MT6592. The device has 32GB of internal storage thats expandable via a microSD card. The device operates on Android 4.4.2 Kitkat out-of-the-box.
The device is expected to be Micromax’s main product at its conference on Mondaybut it might be joined by the company’s first device to run on windows 8.1. The unnamed device packs in Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 chipset with 2GB of RAM and comes with a 5″ 1080p display and a 13MP rear camera. Which one of them will steal the show? We’ll find out on Monday.
