Alcatel Announced OneTouch Pixi 3 OS-agnostic Smartphones For CES 2015

As Many smartphone vendors will be showcasing their devices at the upcoming CES 2015 to be held at Las Vegas from Jan 6 to Jan 9, Alcatel will also be showcasing its new Smartphone series. Alcatel named this series of smartphones as ‘Pixi 3’ series which will include four sets of smartphones. These devices will be available at affordable prices, claimed the company.

These four smartphones will have different display size. These Pixi 3 mobiles are compatible with three different operating systems – Android, Windows and Firefox. 3.5-inch display version of Pixi 3 series will have 3G support only whereas 3.5, 4.5-inch and 5inch variants will have 4G support.

Pricing and other features of this series are yet to be relieved by the company . Previously also, the company has made smartphones that have the above mentioned three OSes.

“Our users do not want complicated systems — they want something familiar from their work environment in the office, but also on a smartphone,” said Alcatel One Touch Chief Marketing Officer Dan Dery in a press statement.

Alcatel also announced entry for its one touch smart watch for CES 2015. For its smartwatch also, Alcatel claims it will be available to customers at relatively lower costs. The smartwatch is designed in round dial shape like that of Moto 360. For sensing and monitoring daily activities of user, smart watch will have various sensors and applications. The device is capable of connecting itself with Android Smartphones for music, notifications, photos and much more.

Further information about the wearable is not reviled by the company yet.
