Another Samsung Device Gets Benchmarked, Could Be Galaxy S5 Neo

With every major Samsung smartphone come its various variants like ‘mini’,’active’ and ‘zoom’ and company’s current flagship, the Galaxy S5 has been no different. But it looks like Samsung has another version of the Galaxy S5 in store and this could very well be the Galaxy S5 Neo.

We say so because an unknown smartphone with the model number SM-G850 has been benchmarked and this device is what many are touting as the Galaxy S5 Neo, a smaller and more affordable version of the Galaxy S5 with trimmed down specs.

Going by the benchmark results, the device will be a 4.7-incher with its screen offering a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. It will have a 11 MP rear snapper while a 2 MP shutter on the front is what you’ll have to be satisfied with. Under the hood you’ll find a Exynos octa-core processor with 4 Cortex A15 cores and 4 Cortex A7 cores clocked at 1.8 GHz and an ARM Mali T628 GPU. Other than that you’ll have 2 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage memory. In terms of connectivity, the device has a lot to offer including Wi-Fi, NFC and Bluetooth.

The pricing of the device is still unknown but we’ll let you know more about it as soon as we do. Till then, stay tuned.
