“Hey Cortana” Not Getting Heard On Android in the U.S.

Microsoft’s Artificial Intelligence Syncing software, Cortana is not listening to “Hey Cortana” on Android in the U.S. It seems that Microsoft didn’t got fix for its incompatibilities with Google Now.

Users using Cortana app reported that it was causing issues for Android users who also utilized the “Hey Google” feature from Google Now.

However, the feature appears to be incompatible with Google’s voice recognition system and, in some cases, could make the phone unusable for commons tasks — like making phone calls.

Earlier, the users could say ‘Hey Cortana’ to launch the voice assistant from within any app, successfully serving as a replacement for the ‘OK Google’ feature on most Android phones.

Hope they will fix this issue soon and the feature will be made available after that.
