HTC One M9+ Aurora, Butterfly 3 Announced

As we all knew HTC is coming with two new devices on September 29th event and here they are with their two new devices. HTC has announced expected Butterfly 3 and HTC One M9+ Aurora Edition. Both of the devices are announced at an event in Japan.

The new version of HTC One M9+ is called the ‘Aurora Edition’. The One M9+ Aurora Edition features an updated, 21MP rear camera. It features a 5.2-inch QHD display, 3GB of RAM, and 32GB of internal storage capacity, which is expandable with a microSD card. Additionally, the Aurora Edition’s camera feature optical image stabilization, along with laser autofocus.

The device is powered by a MediaTek Helio X10 (MT6795T) 64-bit octa-core processor clocked at 2.2GHz, and the dual front-facing BoomSound stereo speakers are here as well.

HTC One M9+ will be released in Taiwan on October 5th and will cost NT$20,900 ($630).

Coming onto the Butterfly 3 which has the same specifications as the J Butterfly. It comes with a 5.2-inch Quad HD display and runs Android Lollipop. At the back of the device is a 20.2MP Duo camera setup with OIS and dual-LED flash. At the front is a 13MP camera. The phone is powered by a Snapdragon 810 processor, with 3GB of RAM. There’s IPX5 and IPX7 certified for water and dust resistance.

The 4G LTE capable phone runs Android Lollipop with the company’s custom Sense UI on top. It is backed by a 2,700mAh battery and supports Qualcomm’s Quick Charge 2.0 technology.

The HTC Butterfly is said to be available in Taiwan starting from October at a price of $600.
