Huawei Nova 8i spotted at Geekbench with Snapdragon 662 SoC

Reportedly, Huawei is ready to present a new smartphone in the market, Nova 8i. The upcoming smartphone arrives on the Geekbench database which reveals some of its key specifications. FYI, most Huawei devices run their own Kirin chipsets, yet there are some which power Snapdragon processors. Huawei Nova 8i is one of the smartphones which equips the Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 SoC.

The device’s listing at Geekbench reveals its model number NEN-L22. Under the hood, it fuels an octa-core processor based on Snapdragon 662 chipset. Furthermore, Huawei Nova 8i will offer Android 10 OS out of the box paired with 8GB of RAM. The operating system is likely to be tossed with the customized EMUI skin by the compnay.

The smartphone is likley to feature a punch-hole design with a 6.67-inch IPS LCD display. The panel will offer a Full HD+ resolution, though the refresh rate is not yet disclosed.

For shooting purposes, Nova 8i can house a quad camera module consisting of a 64MP primary camera, 8MP ultrawide snapper, and a coupke of 2 MP sensors for macro and depth measurement. However, the front camera quality still remains unknown.

Huawei Nova 8i could pack a 4,300 mAh battery that will support 65W of rapid charging. To serve security, there will be a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. The device is likely to arrive in three color variants of Moonlight Silver, Starry Black, and Interstellar Blue.
