Newly announced LG Optimus G attains root before hitting shelves. Root is method was posted by developers over at XDA and Jerry Hildenbrand over at Androidcentral Forums decided to try rooting. Apparently the method used to root the Sprint version of the Optimus G is based on the Ice Cream Sandwich and Jelly Bean adb exploit discovered by XDA forum member, Bin4ry.
