LG Sends official media invite for LG V30 Launch on August 31

The month of September is sure to be a smartphone fest for many. With Samsung, Apple and LG all lining up their top of the line hardware around the same month. Also, we already know Samsung’s new phablet will spearhead the onslaught of new phones on August 23. And we have an official date for a strong competitor LG. Until now, we expected an August 31 unveiling. And the official invitation reassures us of that date.

The invitation reads, “Lights”, “Camera”, “Action”. This clearly means that the star of the show will be the camera of the V30. If previous rumours are anything to go by, it will be a record breaking f/1.6 aperture lens at the back. Also, the LG V30 is expected to come with 6-inch OLED displays after a long time. From what we’ve seen in leaks, it will cut some more bezels to get some more screen. Moreover, we are pretty sure the second display will be dropped too.

The event will unfold at the Maritime Hotel in Berlin and might be 100 minutes long. Also, fans of the series will be able to watch it online on LG Mobile’s YouTube and Facebook pages.
