Moto E5 leaks again via FCC certification and 360° renders

Only last week, we gt to know how the Moto E5 will look. And a couple of days later, the whole Motorola lineup for the year 2018 leaks out. And some of the leaked devices are said to be announced at MWC 2018. Now, once again the Moto E5 gets spotted as it clears FCC certification along with 360° renders by popular leaker Steve Hemmerstoffer (@OnLeaks).

According to the FCC certification, the upcoming Moto E5 will feature a massive 4,000 mAh battery which is a way more better than its predecessor’s 2,800 mAh battery. The FCC certification did not reveal anything about the device other than battery. But as for rumors are concerned, it will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon processor in the US and UK. Whereas in other regions it will come with Mediatek processor like the Moto E4.

Now, moving on to the 360° renders by @OnLeaks, it confirms the new fingerprint sensor placement like found on the render leaked last week. The fingerprint reader will be located on the Motorola logo behind rather than front as last year. Also, the phone seems to have more bezel on the front bottom where the reader used to rest. But, it is now occupied by the ‘Motorola’ logo unlike last year’s ‘Moto’ logo  at the top.

As you can see from the video above, the Moto E5 will also feature front flash and other basics such as headphone jack, micro USB like any other budget smartphone. As we can’t expect USB-type C at this price, it is acceptable. But, hopefully it launches with Snapdragon processor which makes sense.

We will have to wait until MWC 2018 to know about the rest of the phone. Until then, comment your opinion below.
