Blackberry has announced its much rumored BlackBerry Key 2. The smartphone comes in the Black, and Silver colours variants. The price is not yet available.
The BlackBerry Key2 comes with the 4.5 inches, 60.3 cm2 IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen display. It has a display resolution of 1080 x 1620 pixels with the pixel density of 433 ppi. The dimensions of the phone measures at 151.4 x 71.8 x 8.5 mm (5.96 x 2.83 x 0.33 in) with the weight of 168 g (5.93 oz). The phone designed with the Aluminum frame and Plastic at the back. The display shielded with the Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection.
The BlackBerry Key2 runs on the Android 8.1 (Oreo) operating a system. It is powered by the Qualcomm SDM660 Snapdragon 660 chipset and Octa-core (4×2.2 GHz Kryo 260 & 4×1.8 GHz Kryo 260) processor. It has a spot of Adreno 512 GPU. The smartphone has 4 GB/ 6 GB of RAM. It packs an 64 GB/ 128 GB of internal memory which can be expandable up to 256 GB via Micro SD card.
As coming to the camera section, The BlackBerry Key2 packs a DUAL 12 MP + 8 MP of primary camera and 8 MP of front camera for shooter selfies and video calls, chattings. The primary camera is capable of 2160p@30fps video recording. It includes Geo-tagging, touch focus, face detection, HDR, panorama, phase detection autofocus, and dual-LED dual-tone flash. The phone has a powerhouse of Li-Ion 3360 mAh capacity with the Non-removable battery. It has a feature of Fast battery charging: 50% in 36 min (Quick Charge 3.0) which is quite superb.
