As the name suggests, it’s the prime or exclusive version of the Redmi 4 with some of the best features in this category.
The Redmi 4 Prime have a 5″ IPS screen but of the higher 1080p resolution. The upgrades continue with the chipset, which is Snapdragon 625 with an octa-core 2.0GHz Cortex-A53 processor and Adreno 506 GPU.
Also it comes in 32 GB variant with 3GB of RAM. Further, it has better connectivity options as it packs a Full Netcom 3.0. Connectivity options include dual-SIM card slots, 4G LTE with VoLTE voice calling support, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and GPS.
Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime is already available on-preorder in China for CNY 899 or $133 and will go on sale on Monday.
Redmi 4 features a 13-megapixel rear camera with Phase Detection Auto-focus (PDAF) and LED flash. On the front side, you will see a 5-megapixel front camera for selfies and video calling.
Currently the device is available in china only. We are expecting its launch in India pretty soon, it pricing in India may remain near around Rs. 9000.
Further, if we compare it with its other variants than Xiaomi Redmi 4 Standard variant is neither the most powerful and nor the cheapest.
