Samsung Link App Suspended, Content Still Accessible

Samsung Link App has been discontinued since November 1st. Samsung is citing “internal policies” as the reason for discontinuation of the app. Users who are already using the app will continue to have their files accessible from the cloud. All other content will also remain accessible already existing users.

It’s also worth noting that there are some devices from which Samsung Link application can’t be deleted. According to Samsung, those who can’t delete Link must update the application to the latest version.

As for those Smart TVs that come with Samsung Link pre-installed, the application can be easily removed by simply updated the TV software.

Best option is to backup all your data and store it somewhere else. As of now Smasung didn’t notified any date for the suspension of full services.
