Samsung is now serious about updates and Security patches on their device for quite some time now. Now again Samsung releases the July Security Patch ahead of Google. Samsung lists all the vulnerabilities that have been addressed as part of the latest release. As well as 44 Google security patches, Samsung also noted four of its own that have been patched and listed just two of them.

The two main issues that are addressed in this month’s security patch is the Samsung Professional Audio SDK and the IPC socket in devices running KitKat and above. Security Updates don’t appear to be hitting flagship devices as-of-yet, so we’ll have to wait a bit before the patches start hitting handsets.
