Samsung’s Wallet Like Flexible Display Revealed In USPTO Patent Application

Samsung has once again doing something out of mind after curved or flexible display on mobiles, now they have designed Flexible display which can be folded like a wallet. In latest application to the USPTO the Samsung’s is preparing for a display that can be bent upwards or downwards at 360 degree.

The patent application is giving a sneak peak into the device, like how it will bend upwards and downwards without damaging the display. At the bending fold, it may have a section on the front and rear surfaces with an uneven saw tooth-like structure to improve elongation and flexibility when bent.

As per the information until now, Samsung is not going to unveil any flexible display device having that kind of flexibility.

Samsung Wallet like Flexible Display will be able to bent at ratios of 5:5, 3:7 and few others. This patent was published by US Patent Office was originally in the US back in February 2014.
