Verizon and T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy Note 5 and S6 Edge+ starts getting July security patch

Samsung Galaxy Note 5 and S6 Edge+ on Verizon and T-Mobile network starts getting this month’s Android Security Patch. The Security Patch includes Google security fixes, and various system improvements.

For the Galaxy Note 5 specifically, the update includes a fix for the false “No SIM card detected” pop-up notifications. It also improves audio routing for incoming video and voice calls for both devices.

The Update is around 310MB in size, it makes the Baseband version of T-Mobile Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S6 Edge+ to N920TUVU3DPG1 and G928TUVU3DPG1 respectively.
