Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite launched with Snapdragon 660, 6.26 inch display for Rs 13,999 (~$180/1399 Yuan) in China

After numerous rumors and leaks, Xiaomi has finally launched its Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite version, which was earlier leaked as as Mi 8 Youth edition. The new device packs Snapdragon 660 with Vulcan GPU, which aims to perform better than the Huawei Turbo GPU. In camera it carries 12 megapixel + 5 megapixel camera with AI built in features like AI scene recognition and much more. Xiaomi carries few new gradient color variants of the Mi 8 Lite edition starting at the price of 1299 Yuan ($190 /Rs. 13700).

Performance and Display

Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite features 6.26 inches having 19:9 aspect ratio with Full HD+ display. It carries Vulcan GPU which is the next generation GPU to render the graphics. IT is powered by Snapdragon 660 with variable RAM of 4/6GB.  Mi 8 Lite will fully enhance performance and efficiency of the device. It has performed pretty well than the Honor “Turbo GPU” in a two hour stress test. Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite produced stable and fine quality picture on comparison with the Honor.

Camera

There’s a dual 12 megapixel + 5 megapixel shooter on the rear side with AI features such as scene recognition. On the front side there’s 8 megapixel shooter which support AI beauty technology, portrait photos, AI video beauty. Xiaomi has worked on the device’s camera to make it better than all teh Xiaomi phones.

Pricing

It’s 4GB RAM and 64 GB internal storage is available for the price of 1399 Yuan while the 6GB RAM with 64GB internal will go for 1699 Yuan. In the end, there’s a 6GB RAM with 128GB available for 1999 Yuan. It is available on three different colors, deep Space, Gold gradient color and the Blue gradient color.

Currently, there’s no news about the global launch.
