Xiaomi sets the best ever record by selling 23.16 million Phones in a Quarter

Xiaomi is in no hurry to make its market in new continents, rather it is of the opinion to strengthen its base in the already available markets with the proper online sale along with offline stores. India is one of the largest market of Xiaomi, where it is planning to open more than 100 stores by the coming 2 years’ time.

Recently it came to news by a Taiwanese news outlet that in this quarter Xiaomi had made the largest sale of its products ever, leading to an increase of 70% in sales as compared to the previous quarter.

Going by the words of Lei Jun, Xiaomi’s CEO’s words, the company aims to hit a revenue of $14.7 billion (100 billion Yuan) by the end of this year. Online sales at JD.com, Tmall and Suning have contributed to a great extent to reach this record.

At present the company’s focus is on home stores. It has already set up 123 Mi Home stores in China with a vision to expand to more stores in China and opening of home stores in other regions.

The grant of around 3000 licensed patents in 2016 is a clear indication that the company is in a vigorous mood of innovation and expansion. All the above stats are a proof of Xiaomi advancing towards progress.
