Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean Update Hits Galaxy Note 2 In Canada

Finally Android 4.1 Jelly Bean Update is rolling out to Samsung Galaxy Note 2. Earlier, last week Samsung promised to roll out update to Note 2 and today they did it. What Samsung said: “Big Game Special Announcement: GALAXY Note II owners with national carriers will begin receiving the Multi Window and Chinese-language support update (Android 4.1.2) on Wednesday. Thanks for your patience Samsung Nation.”

Currently Galaxy Note 2 running on Rogers, Bell, Telus and SaskTel are receiving update. It’s possible that more carriers will be added to the list soon.

After update users will get the Galaxy Note 2 to multi-task by using the split screen feature that is currently available in other countries. There’s also  simplified and traditional Chinese language support, a customizable notification panel, new ink effect on lockscreen, Swype-style keyboard, and more in this new version of Android.
