Google rolls out its latest February update for Pixel devices, focusing on security, camera enhancements, display fixes, framework stability, and Wi-Fi improvements. The update is now rolling out to the Pixel smartphones, starting from the Pixel 5a to the Pixel 8 Pro, and all the Pixel watches. The update bundles several security patches and improves the system’s stability.
Precisely, the update consists of the latest Android February 2024 Security Patch, which fixes around 15 high-to-critical security issues. Apart from these, the Pixel 8 and 8 Pro receive camera and Wi-Fi improvements, along with enhancements for stability and performance under certain conditions. Additionally, there’s a fix for display corruption under specific circumstances. The Pixel Fold gets a fix for the outer display, while all devices benefit from improved stability or performance with certain third-party apps.
