Android Distribution Numbers for January 2014: Kitkat And Jelly Bean Growing

So here we have Android Distribution Number for January 2014 as Google posted fresh numbers on its Android Developer Site. As according to the new figures it seems that Kitkat and Jelly Bean are growing in a good pace. Kitkat which established its base on pie chart last month has now gained 1.4% share overall.

Similarly Android Jelly Bean 4.1.X has gained 35.9% share and overall Android 4.1-4.3 Jelly Bean has its 59.1 percent share. Further we also seeing decreases in Ice Cream Sandwich which is 16.9% and Gingerbread at 21.2% numbers. Froyo is down 0.3% to 1.3% from last month, while Honeycomb hangs tight at 0.1%.

Currently the main focus is on Kitkat which is slightly up from 1.1% to 1.4%. In future also we expect that Android 4.4 Kitkat will rise with pace better from this month.
