Asus ROG Phone 6 & ROG Phone 6 Pro appears on 3C website with 65W fast charging support

Asus is preparing to expand its gaming flagship with the introduction of the ROG Phone 6 series. A couple of weeks back, the company announced the launch date for the same which is July 5. Ahead of the official debut, two devices from the series: ROG Phone 6 and ROG Phone 6 Pro have made an appearance on China’s 3C certification website. Let’s check out what we know from the listing.

The 3C certification database reveals the model number “ASUS_AI2201_A” for the vanilla ROG Phone 6. On the other hand, the Pro model bears the model number “ASUS_AI2201_B.” Besides, the charging speed of the devices, the portal confirms the 5G connectivity onboard for the ROG Phone 6 series.

According to the 3C website, the Asus ROG Phone 6 and ROG Phone 6 Pro will support a maximum charging speed of 65W. While in normal mode, the smartphones will support 15W charging. Also, they will offer PPS protocol up to 65W.

In addition to this, Asus has confirmed some of the details of the upcoming gaming flagship. The ROG Phone 6 series will feature slightly thick top and bottom bezels with a 165Hz refresh rate display. Under the hood, the phones will power Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC.

Moreover, the ROG Phone 6 and ROG Phone 6 Pro are tipped to pack a massive 6,000 mAh battery, dual stereo speakers, a VC cooling chamber, and more. Now that only a few weeks are left for the lineup to get official, more details are expected to surface online.
