Coolpad launches two new smartphones in India – Coolpad A1 and Coolpad Mega 4A

It’s been a long time since Coolpad’s last smartphone launch in India. But now the Chinese OEM is back with not one but two new entry-level smartphones for the country. The cheapest of the duo is Coolpad Mega 4A priced at Rs. 4,299, whereas the Coolpad A1 will be available for Rs. 5,499. Both these smartphones are already on sale in 3,000 offline stores across India.

The Coolpad Mega 4A and Coolpad A1 come in Gold color and are offline exclusive. You can grab these smartphones from 3,000 multi-brand stores across the states of Delhi NCR, Haryana, Telangana, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh and Maharashtra.

Coolpad Mega 4A Specifications

The Coolpad Mega 4A features a 5 inch HD display and a 2MP secondary camera above it on the front. It is powered by Spreadtrum SC9832 clocked at 1.3GHz coupled with 1GB of RAM. It has an internal storage of 16GB which can be further expanded via microSD card. Last but not least, it is backed by a 2,000 mAh battery and runs on Android Nougat out of the box.

The Coolpad Mega 4A retails for Rs. 4,299.

Coolpad A1 Specifications

The Coolpad A1 also sports a 5 inch HD display but have better cameras, processor, RAM, and battery. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 like the Nokia 2 but clocked at 1.1GHz. As for memory, it features 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage. The front consists of a 5MP shooter, whereas the back sports an 8 MP snapper. It runs on Android Nougat of the box is backed by a 2,500 mAh battery.

The Coolpad A1 can be yours for Rs. 5,499.
