December Security Patch starts rolling out on Realme XT

Realme XT starts getting an Android security patch for the month of December 2019. The company has already rolled out this month’s security patch to Realme 3 Pro, Realme U1, Realme 1, Realme 5s, and Realme 5.  Talking about the Realme XT update it comes with the firmware version RMX1921EX_11_A.14.

Along with the December Security patch, the update is also packed with some improvements in the phone’s performance. It also includes some fixes to the notification center and camera. You can see the full changelog of the update below.

Security
● Android security patch: December, 2019

Notification Center and Status Bar
● Added fast switch toggles of dark mode in notification center

Camera
● Updated Nightscape algorithm of front camera, fixed the probabilistic black block issue

Theme Store
● Updated font change supporting in Theme Store

Known issue fixed
● Fixed the issue of app startup animation splash screen when white wallpaper

The company says the update is rolling out in phases so don’t panic if the update doesn’t pop up on your phone’s display. It will take a couple of days to reach every Realme XT user.

For a reminder, Realme XT was launched back in September 2019 with Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 Soc. The phone is paired with 8GB of RAM and 64GB internal storage which can be expandable up to 256GB via microSD card. It is also packed with a quad-camera setup at the back that includes 64MP primary camera + 8MP ultrawide + 2MP +2MP.
