Essential Phone gets Portrait Mode in camera update

Essential Phone was one of the different kind of device when laucnhed with full Bezel Less display sporting 18:9 content display. The Essential Phone has already received many updates to make its camera bug free and feature full platter. Essential Phone camera came with many bugs when launched but after many updates it has got fully stabilized.

Now, in a bid to add more feature to the Essential phone camera, the Andy Rubin company has pushed another update. The new update brings many new features to the camera app but the major one is the addition of the portrait mode.

Now, users can take pictures in portrait mode and photo below is a sample taken with the phone after the update. So, now your Essential Phone is able to take photos with the bokeh effect. It will blur out the objects beside the object you are focusing on.

The other changes that took place in the new update are exposure compensation, reduction in JPEG compression to improve image quality.
