First live image of Realme fitness band surfaces on the internet

Realme has been teasing its first fitness band for a while now. In the last episode of ‘Ask Madhav’, featuring the CEO himself, we got to know the band will be announced next month. However, nothing concrete has been leaked about the brand’s first wearable until now. Thanks to Beebom’s exclusive live image leak, we now know the design of the band.

Realme soon forayed into making lifestyle products as the brand debuted in its home country China. As of now, the brand offers a number of products including accessories like power banks (battery packs), earphones (both wired and wireless), tote bags, backpacks, and more apart from smartphones. But what’s missing is a fitness band, which the brand has been teasing since last year.

Recently, the CEO of Realme India gave us a glimpse of the fitness band in the brand’s signature yellow colour in the launch video of Realme 5i. Followed by that, he also confirmed its launch in February in his monthly YouTube video series ‘Ask Madhav’. And now, he was spotted wearing it in public by Beebom in the Spanish Visa office in New Delhi.

The image above (posted by Beebom) reveals the overall design of the Realme band, which unfortunately looks similar to Huawei / Honor fitness bands. But the yellow colour makes it stand apart from the competitors. Since the band’s display is turned off in the picture, the type of the panel used is still a mystery. Anyways, we hope it to feature a colour LCD or AMOLED screen like others in the market. As for the strap, it fits to the either end of the tracker and does not wrap around like the Mi Band 4. That being said, we are still unaware of the features it will come with.

Realme is yet to reveal the launch date for its first-ever fitness band. Maybe, it will be announced alongside the Realme C3 whose launch event has been scheduled for February 6.
