Gionee today officially launched its two Android Smartphones M6 and M6 Plus with huge batteries. Both Gionees have a dedicated security chip that offers 10 layers of protection for your personal data. The fingerprint reader is only part of the security.

3c946cb0-5309-11e6-a5a5-a36731929d92Gionne M6 features a 5.5-inch full HD (1920×1080 pixels) Amoled display with 401ppi pixel density with curved glass, 1.8GHz MediaTek Helio P10 octa-core processor with 4GB of RAM and 64/128 GB of internal Storage which further can be upgraded. It is also packed with 13-megapixel rear camera with PDAF and LED flash, in front it is packed with 8 MP camera. Gionne M6 runs on Android Marshmallow-based Amigo 3.5 OS out of the box. Now the highlight of this phone is a huge 5000mAh battery which claims to last up to 6.4 hours of video playback, 55 hours of continuous call, and 794 hours (33 days) of standby time with fast charging capabilities.

On Connectivity front it includes the Dual SIM support, 4G LTE, 3G, GPRS/EDGE, Wi-Fi, GPS/AGPS, Bluetooth, WLAN, USB OTG, Fingerprint Sensor and Micro-USB port. The dimensions measure at 152.3×75.3x 8.2mm and the Gionee M6 weighs 180 grams.


Gionee M6 Plus features a 6″ big – AMOLED again with 1080p resolution, it has the same processor, RAM and internal storage as in Gionne M6. But it has a higher quality camera which includes 16-megapixel rear camera with dual LED flash and an 8-megapixel front camera. Gionee M6 Plus also has a more powerful battery than Gionee M6, M6 Plus is packed with 6,020mAh battery, the dimensions measure of the phone is at 160.5×80.6×8.2mm, and the weight of the Gionee M6 Plus is at 215 grams.

Both the device from Gionee will first available to buy in China in near future after that they will reach out for other markets. But unfortunately at present there is no information regarding the Prices of both the handsets from Gionee.
