Google Drive ends its Support on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich

Google Drive’s Latest update is the last Update for Google Drive on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich user. Though the users right now using Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich are very low i.e. 1.6% out of all the Android devices. So this is a sad news for these 1.6% users.

This is the last supported release of Drive for Android on all Ice Cream Sandwich (Android 4.0) devices. Ice Cream Sandwich (ICS) users will receive no further updates to Drive on Android.

Other than this there some features and improvements also in this update. The update carries lots of performance improvements and bug fixes, the same update introduces a few noteworthy features, the most important of which being the newfound ability to create home screen shortcuts for files.
