Google Music Gets UI Overhaul

Google has updated its Music App and major changes occurred in the User Interface of the the App. The released version is similar to Nexus 7 stock Music App. New UI include refreshed user interface for app navigation, bigger album art on the “Recent” view, a new “Now Playing” queue for serving up songs from different playlists, and a whole lot more. Take a look at all changes:

  • Now Playing queue that allows for queuing and reordering of currently playing music.
  • New UI for navigation with transport controls on the action bar.
  • New large album art view on Recent.
  • Playlist art is now constructed from album art of songs in the playlist.
  • Now Playing widget has album art and support for thumbs up.
  • Harder, better, faster, stronger.
