Honor 8A Pro with Helio P35 is now Official

Honor – the sub-brand of Chinese telecommunications company Huawei. Today it has unveiled the all-new Honor 8A Pro smartphone in Russia after the Honor 8A Play. Honor 8A Pro smartphone seems to be a Russia-specific variant of the Honor Play 8A that was recently unveiled in January this year.

It was first spotted on the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) back in December 2018. Honor’s new smartphone –  the Honor 8A Pro with upgraded specifications.

Honor 8A Pro Specifications

It features the same 6.1-inch screen and is powered by a MediaTek Helio P35 featuring 4x Cortex-A53 cores clocked at 2.3GHz and 4x Cortex-A53 cores clocked at 1.8GHz. To handle graphics performance, PowerVR GE8320 GPU is coupled with 3GB RAM + 32GB Storage. Designwise, the Honor 8A Pro is almost similar to the Honor Play 8A, except a new fingerprint scanner on the rear side of the phone. In the camera department, the phone comes with a Single 13MP sensor on the back and an 8MP camera on the front.

The Honor 8A Pro has a 3,020mAh battery. The phone runs on EMUI 9 based on Android 9.0 Pie. It is priced RUB 13,990 (roughly Rs. 14,700). There is no confirmation on international availability of the Honor 8A Pro yet.
