Today in Japan HTC announces HTC J Butterfly (a sequel to the original J that launched a few months ago) with 5 inch of Super LCD3 display which with a resolution of 1920 x 1080, which gives it a pixel density of the astonishing 440 ppi. It’s also very thin at just 9.1mm which makes it easier to deal with such a big display.

It also runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.

It’s in Japan so folks on the KDDI network can grab hold of this powerful phone in early December, with a choice of red, white or black.
