HTC Desire 816, 610 Hits US Shores

Finally, HTC brings its Desire lineup to the US. The first devices are  HTC Desire 816 and Desire 610 to get into the States. Hope it will increase its sales in the market and also increases its revenue and decreases the alarming losses.

HTC Desire 816 comes packed with a 5.50-inch 720×1280 display powered by 1.6GHz processor alongside 1.5GB RAM. It has a  an impressive 13-megapixel camera. It’s not one of the One M8’s Duo Camera setups, but it will shoot 1080p video. The HTC Desire 816 will be available on Virgin Mobile starting tomorrow, August 12. It will be priced at $299 with the carrier’s no-contract plans.

The other device HTC has made available in the US is the Desire 610. It has a 4.7in screen, but a low 540×960 resolution results in just 234 pixels for every inch. It is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core CPU, 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage, which can be supplemented by a microSD card up to 128GB in size.

AT&T will be offering the Desire 610, and other carriers will be stepping in later in the year. It will be available for $199 with no carrier contract, or for $10 or $8.34 a month on AT&T’s 12 and 18 month financing plans respectively.
