Samsung Galaxy S23+ US Variant arrives on Geekbench, confirms Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, an 8 GB RAM, and Android 13

Samsung Galaxy S23 series is predicted to launch by early 2023. The Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+, and Galaxy S23 Ultra are the three smartphones that are coming in the S23 Series. In October, the Galaxy S23 US variant was listed on Geekbench, and now the Samsung Galaxy S23+ smartphone marked its presence on the Geekbench.

It has the model number (SM-S916U), and could be the Galaxy S23+ US variant. As per the lsiting and some previous reports, the SM-S916U model will feature the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, that is expected at Snapdragon Summit from 15th – 17th November 2022.

Further, the Geekbench data reveals that the device has an octa-core chipset with the codename Kalama with a 1 + 3 + 4 cores configuration. The primary core has a clock speed frequency of 3.36GHz. Other than that, three cores run at a frequency of 2.08GHz. The Adreno 740 GPU handles the graphics intensive tasks.

The listing has also revealed the presence of an 8GB RAM, and it runs on Android 13. Focusing on the Geekbench results, the device gets single-core score of 1485, and in multi-core score test, it scored 4844 points.

Samsung Galaxy S23+ Key Specs (Rumored)

As per previous leaks, Galaxy S23+ will feature a 6.6-inch AMOLED display and it will have a 120Hz screen refresh rate. For the camera section, the device will feature a triple camera in the Rear, and it is reported that it will have a 50 MP primary camera, a 12 MP ultra-wide camera, and a 10 MP telephoto camera. On the Front, It will have a 12 MP selfie snapper camera.

The processor might be different for selected regions – the Galaxy S23+ might feature Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, and for other selected regions the Exynos 2300 is expected.
