Huawei Mate 10 “Blanc” and “Alps” specs leaked online

Fresh new info coming on from industry veteran leakster Evan Blass is shedding new light on the Mate series. Blass revealed that there are at least three handsets n the Mate series. The regular Mate 10 is internally known as “Marcel,” the specs of which are not well known. There are other two models, however, one codenamed “Blanc” is the Mate 10 Pro. The other is codenamed “Alps” and is expected to be the Huawei Mate 10 Lite. Blass even reported the specs of the latter two handsets. Here is the CAD render of the Mate 10, to let you know the device with visibility.

Blanc or Huawei Mate 10 Pro

According to him, Blanc, will come with a Hisilicon Kirin 970 chipset (all Mate 10s will), a 5.99-inch IPS LCD 1,440 x 2,880 resolution display, 6 GB of RAM with 64 GB/ 128 GB storage. We’ve already seen the device in liveleaks. It should come with 18:9 aspect ratio and a 7.5mm thick chassis and still pack a 4,000 mAh battery.

The imaging department comes equipped with a duo of 12 + 20 MP sensors with f/1.6 aperture and OIS. The front selfie will be an 8 MP shooter. All Mate 10 phones will have the same setup. The phone will boast of an IP68 certification as well as LTE Cat.16 modem.

Alps or Huawei Mate 10 Lite

The Huawei Mate 10 Lite or Alps will incorporate the same specs but have 4GB of RAM and a thicker body frame of 8.23-mm. It will also house a smaller screen with 5.88-inch Quad HD resolution and a traditional 16:9 aspect ratio. All Mate 10 phones will ship with Android 8.0 Oreo on board.

Alps will be shipping later in October while Blanc will ship in December according to Blass’ estimates. But all three handsets will get a simultaneous reveal on October 16.
