Instagram Hits 1 Billion Downloads mark in Play Store

Instagram reaches at 1 billion Downloads milestone in Google Play Store. Instagram becomes the fourth app of Facebook to reach 1 Billion downloads other three are Facebook main app, Whatsapp and Facebook messenger.

Moreover, Instagram now becomes the 19th Android App to reach the milestone and becoming one of the very few apps available in the Google Play Store that have been downloaded more than one billion times. Although a month ago Facebook suggests that its actual user base is around 500 million. Now it reaches 1 Billion downloads mark because the download counter does not differentiate between unique installs.

If you still did not have Instagram on your smartphone, then go Play Store and just give a try to it. Now in recent times Instagram User interface has also changed a bit, you may like it.
