Lenovo Starts Rolling out Android marshmallow on Moto Turbo in India

Lenovo Starts Rolling out Android marshmallow on Moto Turbo in India today. The Update is rolling out over the air and it weighs 965.2MB in size. If you don’t get the update notification yet, than chek it manually for the OTA notification by going through the  Settings ->About Phone -> Software Update.

The update includes all the goodies of Android Marshmallow i.e. Doze battery saving feature to hibernate the background apps when the smartphone is in standby mode and ‘Now on Tap’ for Google Now showing contextual information by long pressing on the home button and app permissions to control the information you share with apps. Along with all these features this update also brings user interface changes, a couple of additions along with stability improvements and some bug fixes.

For a reminder Moto Turbo features a 5.2-inch AMOLED display with 2560×1440 pixel resolution and powered by a quad-core 2.7 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 mobile chipset coupled with 3 GB RAM and 64 GB internal storage. It does feature a great camera of 21MP camera at the rear combined with dual LED flash and 8x digital zoom. In the front its on the low side compared to other selfie phones with only 2MP camera. On Connectivity front it supports the LTE Band 3 and packed a huge 3,900mAh battery.
