LG launched its Compact 360 VR headset

LG launched a compact VR headset along with LG G5 at MWC 2016 today. VR seems to be very much the hot topic now days, We already have the major systems like Oculus Rift and HTC Vive in the market, through to the intentions of Google to develop the Cardboard experience further.

Coming back to the LG 360 VR it has two displays, 1.88” 960x720px each, and is compatible with Google Cardboard and YouTube 360 content. Although, the LG 360 VR will become available this spring, but the pricing is yet to be announced.

LG also unveiled a camera to go along with its headset. The LG 360 Cam is a small, handheld camera, reminiscent of the HTC Re. It uses ultra-wide angle lenses mounted on the front and back of the device to capture content.
