LG WK9 smart display device announced at CES 2018

The recent CES 2018 held in Las Vegas was mostly about Google Assistant powered speakers and headphones. Along with these devices also a list ‘smart displays’ were displayed. So well, we can say CES 2018 exhibition was all about Google assistant powered devices.

Google, Lenovo, JBL have come up with a new set of devices named as ‘smart displays’. And during such a new trend why would LG not be part of it. But it has taken up a decent approach over it’s ‘touch screen speaker’. And well even Sony is going to enter the market soon maybe end of 2018. So now the real competition will come in when these major players enter the market.

The device is named by LG as WK9. Regarding the device specifications LG hasn’t spoken a lot. The device has been listed on the official website of LG. There, it just mentions that the size is 8-inch, will have a built in Google Assistant. The device will also have Chromecast functionality, and a speaker that will provide ‘high quality sound’.

Regarding the price we aren’t sure yet but soon will be qupdated. For now we need to wait for the device to be officially launched.
