Mi CC9 confirmed to have 48MP Sony IMX586 sensor

Earlier, Xiaomi CEO revealed the firm’s plan to not to launch any new Mi Max or Mi Note devices this year. However, the post also featured a new Mi Series, with the CC branding device set to release soon. We did know that the first device to come out from the new CC Series will be Mi CC9 scheduled to get released on July 2. Now in a teaser Xiaomi confirms the 48MP Sony IMX586 sensor on the device.

A little while ago before the post revealing 48MP sensor on CC9, Xiaomi did tease the 32MP selfie shooter as well. So, in the camera department there us nothing left to the imagination at least in terms of the megapixel count. Since Xiaomi is in a spree to tease all these feature of CC9, we will likely see more details coming out about the smartphone as time passes.

Nonetheless, recent rumors suggest Mi CC9 to have a Snapdragon 730 Mobile Platform and a 6.39-inch FHD+ AMOLED display. Running Android Pie-based MIUI 10 out-of-the-box the device will pack a 4,000 mAh battery drawing power from a USB-C port.

It seems, Xiaomi has a stripped down version of CC9 in its warehouse dubbed as Mi CC9e. The Mi CC9e is expected to come with 5.97-inch AMOLED display, Snapdragon 710 chipset, 3,500mAh battery with 18W charging, 32-megapixel front camera and 48-megapixel + 8-megapixel + 5-megapixel triple camera with Sony IMX582 as primary sensor. Well, the CC9 series devices will be out on July 2 when we’ll get to know about them much better.
