Moto G7 with Snapdragon 632 launched in India for ₹16,999

Motorola’s G-Series devices are quite popular in various markets. Today, Lenovo owned company has launched a new G-Series device – Moto G7 in India priced at ₹16,999.

Moto G7 is a mid-range phone powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 632 Mobile Platform. For the same asking price, the device seems to be more underwhelming. Also, there are compelling offerings by other companies at the similar price tag. Nonetheless, those who are Moto fanatics can go for the Moto G7.

Moto G7 specifications

Coming to other specs, the Moto G7 comes with a 6.24-inch full-HD+ (1080×2270 pixels) which Moto is marketing as Max Vision display with 19:9 aspect ratio. The display comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. Although the device doesn’t have a proper Ingress Protection (IP) rating, Motorola claims G7 to be splash resistant, thanks to its P2i water-repellent nanocoating.

With 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage, it can be further expandable upto 512GB via microSD card slot. Moto G7 runs on Android 9 Pie. It has a 3,000mAh battery with Moto’s proprietary 15W Turbo power charging support. The smartphone comes with a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, and also supports Face Unlock as an additional biometric authentication method.

For optics, there is a 12MP primary rear camera with f/1.8 aperture, LED flash and a 5MP secondary camera with f/2.2 aperture. At the front, there is an 8MP camera with f/2.2 aperture. The Moto G7 measures in at 157×75.3x8mm and it weighs 172 grams.

Availability and Pricing

The Moto G7 comes in two colour options: Ceramic Black and Clear White. Starting today, it’ll go on sale through Flipkart and select offline retail stores in the country today itself for the price of RS 16,999.
