Moto X is Coming as Moto Z in Current Year

Moto X is going to come as a Moto Z this year as per the report leaked over the web by folks over VentureBeat. Lenovo is allegedly moving on two whole letters in the alphabet to “Z.”

So, usually Moto X is going to be named Moto Z and we have got a hint that Motorola is going to come with Z Style and Moto Z Play. Droid Phones are also going to be renamed, the Turbo and Ma names are going away in favor of “Droid Edition.”

Venturebeat States that:

As VentureBeat reported last week, Motorola has at least two flagship phones in the works once again this year, including a pair of 5.5-inchers codenamed Vertex and Vector Thin. And in an attempt to bridge old and new, these two devices will marry the new brand name with last year’s Moto X model names. The result? Vector Thin, the more premium handset, will be known as the Moto Z Style, while Vertex will apparently be dubbed Moto Z Play.

Today, Moto G4 2016 is here along with its two brother, Moto G4 Plus and Moto G Play. Lenovo’s Tech World, which begins June 9, where many laptops and other tech’s are going to be launched, we expect Moto X 2016 or Moto Z 2016.
