Motorola Droid Turbo Android 5.1 Soak Test Begins: Report

After, Moto G LTe and Moto X 2014, now its time for Motorola Droid Turbo to get the soak test for Android 5.1 Lollipop. It means Motorola is testing the Android 5.1 build on few user’s devices who were active members of Motorola Feedback Network.

There are lot of features that will come up with this update as it will directly jump to Android 5.1 skipping Android 5.0 from Android 4.4.4 Kitkat. The new update consists Material Design, Project Volta, Quick Settings flashlight, Quick Settings animation, improved security and much more.

David Schuster, Motorola’s Managing Director said on Google Plus that “We are still in the lab test cycle and things are looking good.”

Additionally, Motorola Droid Turbo is incorporated with 5.2 inch display with Snapdragon 805 SoC is under the hood, containing a quad-core 2.7GHz CPU and the Adreno 420 GPU. 3GB of RAM is inside along with 32GB/64GB of non-expandable memory. A 21MP snapper is on back with a 2MP selfie shooter in front.

If soak test goes well then soon Motorola will rollout the update officially.
