Motorola Moto E Android 5.0 Lollipop Soak Test Begins In India

Moto E is one of most popular device after Moto G by Motorola in India. Lately, many firms have been providing users with Android Lollipop updates but problem faced by most of the non nexus devices was that update resulted in issues with Wi-Fi, calls, Bluetooth and battery drain like problems. Despite these many issues Motorola Rolled Out Moto G Android 5.0 Lollipop update last week.

This was one of the reason for Motorola’s delay in rolling out update to low end Moto E. Hence it is expected that update will not result in any such problem. Reports claimed that brand has started inviting users in India for a soak test where they will be able to evaluate the Android 5.0 upgrade before it’s rolled out to the masses.

As per GSMArena and some threads of news were observed on XDA forums too. It is expected that update of Android Lollipop will be bug free and will satisfy Moto E users. If everything goes well in this soak test we could soon see Android Lollipop reach all Motorola Moto E users in India this month only.

Lets have a look at specifications of Moto E:

  • Android 4.4 KitKat
  •  4.3-inch qHD IPS display
  •  1.2GHz quad core processor
  •  4GB storage (32GB expandable)  and  1GB RAM
  •  5MP rear camera
  •  1980mAh battery
