Nexus Protect Found in Hardware Listing Of Google Store Source Code

Nexus Protect we don’t know what is this but as per some sources it can be extended warranty plan for Nexus devices. Nexus Protect is found on the hardware listing page of Google Store’s source code.

Basically the idea behind the Nexus Protect can be the extended warranty for he Nexus devices that sold through their website for 1 or 2 years. The source code text that has been revealed in the page has been also seen in the listings pages of Chromebooks, Android Wear smartwatches and Android TV set-top boxes (from different manufacturers also).

Well, the text in the code reads like this:

“You can’t add this phone unless it has the same Nexus Protect choice as other phones in your cart. You can update your choice or purchase this phone in your next order.”

So we can guess if that it is the warranty thing for any device sold through the Google Store?

Currently everything is speculation we are not sure whether this is about warranty or anything else. What do you say?
