HMD has started rolling out a new security update for Nokia 2 smartphone in the Indian market. This update brings along the latest security patch for the month of April. It is advisable to download the update as soon as it appears on your device as it is meant to improve the security of your device and addresses vulnerability issues. The update, however, does not bring any other major changes to your device.
Other Nokia devices like Nokia 1, Nokia 8, Nokia 3, Nokia 5 and others have already received the April Security update. The update is being sent over-the-air to all Nokia 2 smartphones in several phases. If you did not receive the update yet, you will be seeing it anytime soon.
You can always check for the update manually by tapping Settings > System Updates > Check for the update. As a reminder, you should sufficiently charge your device and make sure you’re connected to a trusted Wi-Fi connection.
