That news seem to be turning out true as we now have the Nokia X2. Nokia X2 is Microsoft’s first Android device as the Nokia X was launched a short time before Microsoft took over.

The successor to Nokia X seems to have gotten quite some updates, the first being the 4.3″ ClearBack display screen, offering a resolution of 800 X 480 pixels. This however is not so impressive as due to the large screen size, it brings down the ppi to 217. A qualcomm Snapdragon 200 chipset along with 102 GHz dual-core Cortex-A7 Cpu along with 1 GB of RAM. The device is powered by 1800 mAh which offers more battery backup that its predecessor, the Nokia X. The device comes with 4 GB of internal storage that is expandable via a microSD slot which offers upto 32 GB of expansion.  The device also features a 5 MP camera on its back with a flash and a front facing camera. In terms of connectivity, you get Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and dual-SIM capability.

There was also news that Nokia was planning to bring out a new update on the Nokia X, but there have been np advancements with that update yet. The Nokia X2 will be out with a price tag of €99 and will b available in black, white, orange, yellow and green color schemes
