Oppo R17 Pro to house a Triple-Camera setup with Variable Aperture

Oppo has just announced its Oppo R17 device a few days back and now they are regularly teasing the upcoming R17 Pro handset. Recently we’ve covered some leaks about the R17 Pro’s camera module according to which R17 Pro will come with a variable Aperture camera. Now some more fresh details about the R17 Pro’s camera have been surfaced online. It looks like this will gonna be a camera-centric smartphone. So without wasting any time let’s know more about it.

A new image depicting Oppo R17 Pro’s rear camera module has been leaked online. From the first look, it appears to be a capture from the assembly line. Following this leak, Oppo R17 Pro is expected to come with a Triple-Camera setup in the rear. Along with that, it will support variable Aperture similar to that of the Samsung Galaxy S9+, Galaxy Note 9, etc. The device will also pack a distinct technology for 3D mapping and advanced 3D environment recognition.

Recently Oppo’s product manager has announced that their upcoming device will come with a ToF technology. It seems like the device discussed above is the Oppo R17. Oppo R17 Pro will be the first commercial device to have 3D sensing technology which will further allow for a better AR experience, gesture recognition, etc.

It will also be the first device to feature a Corning Gorilla Glass 6 in the front. The device will come powered by a Snapdragon 670 SoC and will support AI capabilities. For more Android updates stay tuned to GoAndroid.
