Oppo Reno Ace ColorOS 11 reportedly rolling out in Japan

Oppo has been rolling out its new ColorOS 11-based Android 11 to all its eligible devices. All the OEMs are trying to roll out their Android 11 based custom skins to their eligible devices. Currently, the company has released ColorOS 11 update for Oppo Reno Ace.

The ColorOS 11 update bears a build number version PCLM10_11_F.04. The update was expected to roll out in the first quarter of 2021. According to a Reno Ace user tweet, the much-awaited ColorOS 11 update was seen rolling out on the device in Japan.

However, it is unclear if this is an official announcement or soak test to ensure users that there are no issues before releasing the update. As there is no official announcement yet, the users of Oppo Reno Ace need to stay put and wait in the meantime.

Oppo Reno Ace specifications

Oppo Reno Ace sports a 6.5-inch AMOLED display with 1080×2400 pixel resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. The smartphone is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+ processor. It is available in 8GB/12GB variants coupled with 128GB/256GB internal storage.

It is equipped with a 64MP primary rear camera and a 32MP front camera. The smartphone is packed with a 4000mAh battery with 65W fast charging. Connectivity options include WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, GPS and USB Type-C.
