Oxygen OS 2.1.4 Available for OnePlus One

Finally, Oxygen OS 2.1.4 is here for the OnePlus’s debut device, OnePlus One. The OnePlus team has announced the Oxygen OS 2.1.4 update via the official forums of the company. Many users were complaining about the no update to the device and inability of the developers to provide fixes to the bugs.

In order to answer the user’s complaint OnePlus has specially mentioned that we have in no way forgotten about the device that sent OnePlus into orbit, which is why we’d like to take this opportunity to reaffirm our commitment to some of our brand’s most loyal supporters.

In latest update OnePlus has removed various features from OnePlus One. Those features include Ma Audio technologies and apps were removed, alongside manual camera mode and RAW file format capabilities, fingerprint support and the screen temperature slider.

Well, there are also some features added like new Dark Mode and accent color customization, support for custom icon packs, and more.

It is not available over the air because it replaces the entire factory firmware on each partition, but must be installed manually and the OnePlus has provided guidance for flashing from Mac and Windows.
