Redmi Note 12 Pro+ set to launch with 200 MP Samsung HPX camera, other information revealed too

Redmi is going to launch its new Redmi Note 12 series on 27th October 2022 in China. Previous leaks reveal that the series will have 4 devices. According to a Chinese tipster, the company will launch only three variants of the Redmi Note 12 series i.e the Redmi Note 12 Pro, Redmi Note 12 Pro+, and the Redmi Note 12 Exploration variant. The Vanilla Redmi Note 12 will be delayed, meanwhile, the Redmi Note 12 Pro+ will have a huge 200-megapixel camera.

According to Redmi, the new Redmi Note 12 Pro+ will be the world’s first phone with a Samsung ISOCELL HPX 200-megapixel camera. The Optical Image Stabilization feature will be part of the camera optics. The primary Samsung ISOCELL HPX 200-megapixel camera will be a 1/1.4-inch camera sensor with a pixel size of 2.24μm. Their other model in the Redmi 12 series will be getting a 50 MP main camera with OIS. Information about the other camera lens of the device is still unknown.

Redmi Note 12 series will be having a Dimensity 1080 chipset. According to the rumours device will have a curved-edge AMOLED panel. But looking back at the previous Redmi’s pattern their new device will be able to support 120W charging or more.

According to the above-mentioned tipster, there won’t be a standard Redmi Note 12 this time. The smartphone will be available for pre-booking through Chinese retailer sites like JD.com. Follow us for more tech-related information.
