Report: Samsung Coming With Android Wear Smartwatch At Google IO 2014

Now along with the Motorola and LG, Samsung also seems to enter the Android Wear market by announcing the Android Wear based smartwatch at Google IO 2014. Earlier LG G Watch and Moto 360 were slated for the announcement at the Google’s developer conference helding in San Francisco next week.

As according to the CNET, Samsung will launch smartwatches similar to Galaxy Gear running on Tizen. Google’s wearable-centric operating system, Android Wear has got another partner as per the reports from the source. Samsung is slated to launch two version of the Android Wear powered Smartwatch one will come with an in-house Exynos chip and one with a Qualcomm chip.

As per the trends it seems that Samsung is going to apply same strategy of diversification in smartwatch market as it did in the Mobile market. Currently it seems that Samsung Gear series haven’t got much charm in the market but we hope Android Wear will help Samsung to gain some momentum in the Wearables market.
